When I joined the Route2Play initiative at Veenpark, the goal was to create a set of posters that would visually enrich the park while integrating an interactive layer through QR codes. The challenge was to design illustrations that not only aligned with Veenpark’s historical and playful identity but also supported a seamless visitor journey.

STRATEGY
I started by researching Veenpark’s visual identity and the Route2Play concept to ensure thematic consistency. Multiple illustration styles and compositions were explored to strike a balance between storytelling, visual engagement, and clarity. I collaborated closely with the client, presenting variations and incorporating feedback into the final layout, a clean, three-part illustration that guided users through the park. All assets were optimized for outdoor display and integrated with QR codes to support a playful, digital experience.
